Walking the Playful Path with the Goldilocks Mindset

During a recent retreat in Tuscany, dedicated to juggling artists, we were eating porridge one morning, and the story of Goldilocks came to mind! We discovered its name in Italian, German, and French, and I decided to read the story aloud since I couldn’t quite remember all the details.
Do you know the story of Goldilocks?
Goldilocks is often seen as a naughty girl, eating the baby bear’s porridge, breaking his chair, and sleeping in his bed.
But I knew there had to be more to it than just a lesson in morals.
So I gave it some deeper thought, and out came the Goldilocks Mindset—the same as walking the playful path! Amazing!
In life, like in Goldilocks and the Three Bears, we often test different “porridges, chairs, and beds” as we search for balance and fulfilment. The key is embracing a playful mindset, where we allow ourselves to explore, make mistakes, and learn what feels “just right” for us. This approach isn’t about perfection—it’s about trying different options until we find the ones that truly resonate.
Let’s break down the symbolism of the three elements:

: Just as Goldilocks tries different porridges, we explore various ways to nourish our bodies and minds. From diets to exercise, the Goldilocks Mindset invites us to play and adjust our approach until we find what makes us feel vibrant and alive.
